Wigan will check on the fitness of Callum McManaman ahead of the crucial clash against Norwich City this weekend.
McManaman has been struggling with an ankle injury he picked up in the FA Cup victory against Everton at Goodison Park and the problem also forced him off against Newcastle last time out.
The player was unable to train earlier in the week and boss Roberto Martinez says he has a 50-50 chance of making the clash. The same applies to Antolin Alcaraz, who is still not 100 percent fit after only just returning from long-term injury.
"The concerns we have for this weekend are with Callum McManaman and Antolin Alcaraz," Martinez revealed. "Callum's ankle injury meant he had to come off in the last game and we're still keeping a close eye on his condition.
"With Antolin we have to remember that he is still recovering from an injury that ruled him out for six months of the season. After the amount of football he's played in recent weeks we need to take his fatigue into consideration and hope that he comes through."
Martinez will have to check on the rest of his international brigade and will be praying they all return safe and sound ahead of a crucial run of fixtures.
