Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is reportedly on the trail of Honduras striker Roger Rojas as he bids to bolster his squad.

The 19-year-old junior international plays for Olimpia and is regarded as one of the hottest properties in Honduran football.

Rojas is a team-mate of another Latics target, defender Johnny Palacios - the brother of former Wigan star Wilson - and Latics scout John Benson is understood to have flown to Miami to watch both players in action against Peru this week.

Palacios junior, 22, has become a part of the Honduras side that has reached next summer's World Cup finals and also features his brother Wilson, Wigan midfielder Hendry Thomas and left back Maynor Figueroa.
