Wigan are reported to be among the clubs showing an interest in Grasshopper full-back Bruno Bertucci.

The 21-year-old has impressed since arriving in Switzerland from the Brazilian outfit Corinthians and his agent claims a number of clubs throughout Europe are keen.

A move to the Premier League would be his preferred choice and as well as Wigan, Aston Villa, Bolton, Sunderland, Newcastle, Queens Park Rangers and Stoke are also said to be interested.

It remains to be seen where he will end up in the summer but the player's agent says there is plenty of interest in him.

"Bruno has performed at a very high level since moving to Europe, and this has not gone unnoticed," his British representative Chris Nathaniel confirmed to Sky Sports.

"We know of a number of clubs throughout Europe, but particularly England, who are taking a keen interest."

The youngster still has two years to run on his current deal and clubs in France are also said to be keen.
