Wigan are waiting to discover the full extent of the injury to Ryo Miyaichi after the winger was stretchered off against Everton.
Miyaichi has had a nightmare on the injury front since arriving on loan from Arsenal in the summer and had only just returned to the side when bad luck struck once again.
The winger was on the receiving end of a tackle from Everton's Kevin Mirallas during the FA Cup clash and left Goodison Park on crutches and with his foot in a protective cast.
It is thought the cast was more of a precaution and the injury is not a serious one but Roberto Martinez will be sweating on his fitness nonetheless until the Japanese ace gets the all clear.
