New signing Victor Moses is expected to make his Wigan debut in the Premier League clash against Sunderland on Saturday.

The striker completed a move from Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day and will be in Roberto Martinez's squad to take on the Black Cats.

Marcelo Moreno, who joined on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk until the end of the season, will not play as he is still awaiting international clearance, however, as Latics look to bounce back from the poor 2-0 home defeat in the FA Cup against Notts County in midweek.

Captain Mario Melchiot has not trained all week because of a neck problem and will be given a late fitness test but goalkeeper Chris Kirkland is still recovering from a collarbone injury so Vladimir Stojkovic will stay in goal.
