Defender Ronald Zubar may feature for Wolves against Swindon in the Carling Cup this week as Mick McCarthy looks to use his full squad.
The Premier League outfit face a tricky tie against the League One side on Tuesday and Wolves boss McCarthy is likely to make a few changes for the match after his side have played three Premier League games in the past week.
Zubar joined from Marseille in early July and is set to make his debut at Molineux, while club record £6.5m signing Kevin Doyle and talented young striker James Spray should both feature in the clash.
"Ronald is ready for a game," said McCarthy. "We've got a first team squad and I'll be using it."
Meanwhile Wales international striker Sam Vokes has urged McCarthy to take the Carling Cup seriously this season.
"The Carling Cup is still a big competition and there's a Wembley final at the end of it," he said.
"Over the last few years, when you look at the finals some of the big teams have been involved which shows just how people still take the competition seriously.
"We are exactly the same and even if the gaffer does change things around, it will be still a team of senior first-team players.
"We've got a decent-sized squad now, so a lot of the first-team boys who haven't been starting so far will be keen to be involved. It would be nice to have a run in the competition and there's no reason why we shouldn't, but we know that we will have to play well to get through."
