Wolves are anxiously awaiting the results of a scan on Karl Henry after he limped out of the clash with Fulham on Sunday.
The midfielder has picked up a hamstring injury and had to come off in the first half of the 5-0 drubbing at Craven Cottage and he will be assessed over the next couple of days.
His absence is a big loss to boss Terry Connor and the match was goalless when he left the pitch, Connor will be desperately hoping he is back in time for the vital clash with Blackburn this weekend as Wolves look to bounce back from the defeat at Fulham which plunged them into the bottom three.
He told the club's website: "Karl's injury is a hamstring but we don't know how bad it is just yet.
"He will be assessed over the next couple of days, hopefully he caught it early and he'll be back sooner rather than later but we'll have to wait and see."
Wolves take on Blackburn at home on Saturday and on the same day Bolton face QPR so it looks like a vital weekend for those at the bottom of the table.
