Yeovil winger Joel Grant has been called up to Jamaica's latest squad, boss Gary Johnson has revealed.

The former Wycombe man, who made 38 appearances for the Glovers this season, has been named in the Reggae Boyz' squad to face Serbia on May 26 in New Jersey.

He becomes the fourth Yeovil player to be called up to a senior international squad this season after Czech goalkeeper Marek Stech, Welshman Tom Lawrence and Irish defender Shane Duffy

Johnson told the Western Gazette: "I think it is a feather in our cap. You've got Shane Duffy, Tom Lawrence, Marek Stech and now Joel Grant, who has been called up to Jamaica.

"I think it shows where we are trying to be and how we are trying to move it on a little bit.

"We haven't quite moved it on far enough for the Championship at the moment but certainly we are going in the right direction player-wise with four players getting international honours.

"Credit to all of them and good news for Yeovil Town."
