Twumasi thrilled at Glovers bow

After a long wait Seth Nana Twumasi was delighted to finally pull on a Yeovil shirt in the draw with Reading, even if it came in unusual circumstances.

The full-back, who arrived at Huish Park in the summer after a serious knee injury ended his spell at Northampton, was introduced out of position at left-back and with the Glovers down to nine men but he could not hide his relief at finally make his Yeovil debut.

"It was hard to do a job," he told the Western Gazette. "Gary Johnson said to just go out there and defend. Maybe they might mess it up, I just had to do a job for the team.

"Obviously, with the circumstances I had to go on with, I thought I went and did what the manager asked me to do. I'm a right-back really, but I'm happy to do a job for the team, wherever I'm needed.

"I tore my anterior cruciate knee ligament and suffered cartilage damage, it's been a long road for me. I'm just happy to be here and to make my debut finally."
